This website collects personal information in one place only: the enquiry form on our contact page. This page explains what we collect there, why, who else can see it, and what you can ask us to do about it.

Who we are

What we collect

When you send the enquiry form, we receive what you have typed into it:

• your name
• your email address
• your phone number — only if you choose to give it
• the service you are enquiring about — only if you choose to give it
• whatever you write in the message box

We do not ask for, and you should not send through this form, ID numbers, bank or card details, or anything else you would consider sensitive. If your enquiry needs information like that, we will tell you a safer way to give it to us.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not set cookies, and there is no analytics or advertising tracking on it. Reading these pages does not build a profile of you.

Why we collect it

For one purpose: to read your enquiry, reply to it, and — if you decide to go ahead — to carry out the work you have asked us for.

We rely on your consent, given when you choose to send the form, and on the fact that we are answering a request you made of us. We do not sell your information, and we will not add you to a marketing list unless you ask us to.

Who else can see it

Running this website involves a small number of other companies:

• Vercel hosts this website and serves the pages you view. Like any web host, it handles the network request your browser makes, which includes your IP address.

The enquiry form does not go through a form service. It opens your own email app with your message ready to send, so it reaches us as ordinary email.

We may also have to share information where the law requires it — for example, in response to a lawful order.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not turn into work are kept while there is still a reason to follow them up, and then deleted. Where an enquiry becomes a job, the paperwork is kept for as long as our tax and record-keeping obligations require.

You can ask us to delete your enquiry sooner than that, and we will unless we are required to keep it.

Your rights

The Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) gives people rights over their own personal information. Broadly, that means you can ask to be told how we are using yours, to see what we hold, to have it corrected if it is wrong, to object to how it is being used, and to have it deleted. How each of those applies depends on the circumstances.

To ask about any of this, email hello@brightpath-example.com. We may need to check who you are before we act on a request.

If you think we have mishandled your information, tell us first and we will try to put it right. You can also raise it with the National Privacy Commission, the data protection authority for the Philippines.

Security

This website is served over HTTPS, so what you send through it is encrypted on the way to us. No way of sending or storing information is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security — but we do not keep enquiry data anywhere it does not need to be.

Changes to this policy

If we change how this website handles personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
