A small local firm that answers the phone

Brightpath started in 2008 with one van and one engineer. Eighteen years later there are nine of us, and we still take the same view: the work should be done properly, the price should be agreed before we start, and somebody should always answer the phone.

We deliberately have not grown beyond the towns we can reach quickly. A firm that covers three counties cannot be at your house in an hour, and we would rather be genuinely local to four towns than nominally available to forty.

Every engineer on the team is directly employed and certified for the work they do. We do not subcontract, which means the person who quotes your job is accountable for it and you will usually see the same face on a return visit.

Most of our work still comes from people who were recommended by a neighbour. That is the only marketing we have ever really trusted, and it sets the standard we have to keep meeting.
